Ian Brown needs no introduction. A uniquely English presence existing on his own terms, a northern folk hero and national icon, he's created a series of great records in an idiosyncratic and ground breaking solo career. A brooding presence with the generational aura of a Strummer or a Lydon, whose natural charisma has been tapped into by a whole host of new generation copping the walk, the style and the attitude.

Brown's 6 solo albums are testament to his uncompromised vision and his ability to make pop on his own terms, never by the rules. In 2012, Ian rejoins The Stone Roses for a series of anticipated high profile live dates.
